Globe says service disruptions may hit parts of Metro Manila

MANILA - Globe Telecom on Tuesday said its services might be unavailable in some parts of Metro Manila due to a power outage in Ermita, Manila.
The telecom company said call, text, data and landline services for its customers could be disrupted in some parts of Sampaloc, Santa Ana, Paco, Pandacan, Ermita, Port Area, Malate, Tondo, Sta. Cruz, Quiapo, Binondo, San Miguel, Intramuros, San Juan, Quezon City and Mandaluyong.
"Rest assured that we’re working on the immediate and full restoration of our services. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding," Globe said in a statement.
Globe shares were up 0.51 percent to P1,990.00 on Monday.
